ABOUT

About Sara Quinn

 My approach

I work integratively, combining:

  • Hypnotherapy

  • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

  • Mindfulness-informed and embodied awareness

This allows us to work with both:

  • conscious thought patterns and behaviours

  • deeper emotional and nervous system responses

Sessions are practical, respectful and always collaborative. You remain aware and in control throughout, including during hypnosis.

MY STORY

Areas I support

I primarily work with:

  • anxiety and chronic stress

  • burnout and overwhelm

  • persistent overthinking and perfectionism

  • emotional reactivity and difficulty switching off

  • stress-related physical symptoms

I also support specific issues such as:

  • phobias

  • IBS and gut–brain stress responses

  • habit change (including smoking cessation)

All work is offered alongside appropriate medical care where relevant.

Experience and background

Alongside my training in hypnotherapy and CBT, I have been a mindfulness practitioner since 1993. This informs a steady, non-judgemental way of working that supports emotional regulation and psychological flexibility.

I am committed to ethical practice, confidentiality, and ongoing professional development.

Online and in-person work

I offer:

  • in-person sessions in Kings Langley, Hertfordshire

  • online sessions for clients across the UK and internationally

Online work is conducted securely and is suitable for most people.
